Season 3, Episode 15: A Higher Power

I was able to get a meeting with the showrunner to pitch my idea for an episode for Criminal Minds. It was the third season so still pretty fresh at the time and they hadn’t written an Angel of Death style of murderer at that point.

My idea – a serial killer preys upon grieving towns after a big tragedy has taken place, then makes his murders look like suicides. He liked it and I was hired.
